The Bänklialp looks back on more than 120 years of history. It gained popularity and fame among the people of Engelberg for its country music evenings, live concerts and delicious Swiss cuisine. Since 2021, a new team has been leading the traditional chalet-style hotel step by step into the present day with plenty of charm.

Chef Milan Djordic has been creating fine dishes for thirty years. The ingredients: Passion, freshness, many regional products and exquisite specialities from our own smokehouse. The trout - a favourite classic of our house - swims from the basin, so to speak, fed by Engelberg mountain spring water, directly onto the plate.
